There are essentially four stages, each involving
many steps, that occur in the handling of your
case. The preliminary stage involves the gathering
of all necessary information. At the second stage,
the information collected is organized and presented
to the insurance company for the other side in
an effort to start settlement negotiations if
they are interested at that time. Third, is the
formal lawsuit procedure or litigation stage,
and fourth, is the actual trial.
